Comradery, exercise, and wellness that is what Havasu Intramural Team Sports (H.I.T.S) is all about here at the ASU Lake Havasu campus. We are wanting to bring more sports for the students as well as the community to par take in. We already have a volleyball and basketball schedule planned out for the year. Monday and Wednesdays from 6pm-10pm is volleyball and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-10pm in the ASU gym. H.I.T.S. is trying to encourage more people to join in on the fun during the week. The more students we get involved the more we can make happen. As we all know the campus is small but it is continuously growing every year! With your help we can make this club thrive and grow. The more students we get to help us out the more we can do for our campus and put on more tournaments. It may seem difficult to form a team for just students because everyone isn’t into playing sports which is fine. But, we want to have community involvement as well. If we reach out to our community we can have a lot of fun. Another plus to being able to make friends around town and getting them to join us can also get our ASU campus name out there and possibly get more students to join as well. If having fun, promoting team work, wellness, and reaching out to the community then H.I.T.S is the club for you! If you wish to join the club please get ahold of Jesse Francoeur our staff advisor, Tayler Powell a co-chair member, Kaitlynn Abshire a co-chair member, or Ryan Hernon a member of the club.
